A 53 year-old male senior constable from Road Policing Command who had been stood down from official duty in December 2015 with the Queensland Police Service, has had the stand down action revoked and is returning to work.
The officer was the subject of an internal investigation concerning allegations he drove a police vehicle in a manner likely to endanger other road users and provided false and misleading information.
In keeping with our commitment to high standards of behaviour, transparency and accountability, we have undertaken to inform the public when an officer faces serious allegations of misconduct.
